Diana Jude is an independent author, illustrator, and historian who decided that one creative discipline was simply not enough opportunities for personal suffering. With a background in history and visual communication, she specializes in illustrated speculative fiction, morally questionable characters, and interpersonal relationships that would benefit tremendously from professional intervention. Her debut novel, Project Collision: Volume I, combines science fiction, romance, political intrigue, and the consequences of allowing two emotionally compromised individuals to make important decisions. Jude is also the founder of The Unpaid Toll, an independent publishing imprint operating under the increasingly concerning motto Historia Manet—History Remains. She writes, illustrates, and designs her own books, primarily because she has difficulty leaving well enough alone.
